Some nice right hand wedges out at this reef one afternoon.
A nice sunset the other night got me inspired to shoot some seascapes for the first time in a while
Should be an interesting and amazing time of travel coming up for me in the next 6 months. The locations i’m headed for include Far North Queensland, Malaysia, Hawaii and possibly Tasmania. Balancing this with part time work and school is making for a pretty busy time in my life at the moment. All I can say is I can’t wait and i’m taking everything as it comes.
A stingray sweeping the ocean floor at the Flinders back beach.
One of the best swells i’ve witnessed. Great waves were had as all the elements aligned for some all time waves.
This will go down as one of the best photo sessions i’ve ever had. Great memories.

The afternoon was overcast and dark, but the waves were definitely on and there were plenty of guys on it. Heres one capturing the mood of the surf.
Some decent waves coming through this morning. A beautiful day to get down to the beach!
This is an awesome trailer video I stumbled on a while ago by Luka Raubenheimer (Juka Productions). It showcases young talented surfers, skaters and musicians. A very talented bunch of people up there in Queensland! Juka Productions

Such an awesome morning! Waves were pumping and the sun was not hiding behind the clouds. Best shoot in a long time.
The sun was trying to push through the dense clouds for a sunset show but to no result. Meanwhile the waves were doing their thing. ~ Enjoy
Mighty waves meet the coastline while the sun is setting in Cape Schank ~ Enjoy
After a hot and dry day I had a feeling that a sunset session could be on. As it turned out, it was the most amazing sunset i’ve ever seen. I felt like I was standing in someones image on photoshop! Here’s a shot of some swell lines pulsing through during the colour show. ~ Enjoy

Super clear conditions at Victorias 13th Beach.

This was a really good day down at the shorebreak. After surfing for about 3 hours I came in and shot this through the rain(why it doesn’t look clear). It’s been about 3 months since a decent swell and we’re all hanging out for one soon!
I got a nice view into this little hole. The ocean working it’s magic!

Well this is first post of 2013. It was taken last year on the Great Ocean Road. I hope for some more amazing moments to capture this year and to keep on improving. Have a good year everyone. Jack.
Dawn sets at Winkipop, only a few guys on it. You won’t see that very often.
Quite a dramatic sky, sunset over the field. I live for these kind of moments
Christmas Eve in Williamstown
As the year ends, looking back I have had a great year improving my photography skills. The best part of the year for me was working with Bell St Gallery for one week. I had the opportunity to see how a gallery operates, printing and framing large images and working with professional photographers. Here’s a short slideshow of my best/ favourite photos from 2012. Another dark, cloudy day but I went for a swim and snapped this. Enjoy.
I think that this photo basically speaks for itself. Just raw power.
Here is one of my first proper lightning attempts from 29.11.12. There were crazy bolts like this everywhere!
I have decided not to continue with the “Photo a day” idea I had a few days ago. It seemed good at the time but over a while that’s a lot of photos. They will still come regularly but not daily!
I went for an awesome snorkel this afternoon. The temperature today hit 38 degrees. Hot!
